We consider ourselves to be extremely fortunate. There cannot be many companies who get to talk to each and every one of their customers every day - we think that is pretty special.
In an age where businesses become more online and transactional we still delight in personal contact. Don't get us wrong, we embrace the efficiency that technology can bring, but we will never sacrifice our personal approach in the name of innovation.
As we plan ahead for our next 150 years in business it will be our customers needs that will remain constant as we look to innovate what we do and how we do it. Increased efficiencies across our warehouse and delivery, more local drivers to enhance our personal service, up to date communication systems to keep you informed and supported, ongoing investment in IT and telephony and the continual development of both employees and our services ensure that we can continue to make the lives of our customers stress free - we aim to enhance their lives whilst still feeling within reach when they need us.
Innovation through partnerships
We have innovated in our partnerships, working closely with highly respected charities to design a home delivery service to suit their members individual needs.
Watching their member communities grow has been exciting and our innovation in this area continues. Not only do we provide a dedicated service but we have launched an ongoing programme of communication, in partnership with each charity, to undertake continual research with each of their members. Finding out how we can develop our service based on actual feedback is valuable as we get to refine what we can offer them based on what they need.
This level of innovation ensures that our service is not a 'one size fits all' approach and each time we refresh our offering every single customer benefits.
