We were proud to recently sponsor the Inter Spinal Unit Games and were delighted to see the team from Salisbury win the trophy on the day.
On Thursday 4th June we were delighted to attend the annual Rebuilding Lives after Spinal Cord Injury Awards. It was a fantastic evening, hosted by Countdowns own Susie Dent and attended by over 400 people.
This year SIA Healthcare sponsored the prestigious award category ‘SIA Action on spinal cord injury Award’ with three fantastic shortlisted individuals – Baroness Rosalie Wilkins, Fiona Barr and Patricia Tranter.
We are delighted to announce that the SIA Healthcare has continued to grow since our launch in early April and there are now over 780 SIA members registered. This is fantastic news and it has been a pleasure to welcome each and every one of them to our SIA Healthcare Community. Having just received feedback from many of them, we are very pleased to know just how much this service is changing and improving their lives.
Over the past few months the SIA Healthcare team have been working hard, talking to people about the benefits of joining and discussing any fears that they might have about switching to a new service. We thought it was time that you got to know the team a bit better so we spoke to Pete Hutchings and Stephen Burns, our new SIA Healthcare Outreach Relationship Managers. Here they tell us a bit about themselves, their own experience since making the switch to SIA Healthcare and how they are supporting others across the UK.
Due to the success of the SIA Healthcare service we are delighted to announce that we have recruited two new members onto the team as Outreach Relationship Managers.
Both Peter Hutchings and Stephen Burns bring with them a wealth of experience having worked within the spinal cord injured arena for a number of years. Click here to read their profiles and get to know them a bit better.
