Here at Bullens we like to pride ourselves on going the extra mile for our customers, and our values reflect this, focusing on trust, respect, innovation, collaboration and excellence. Every month staff are asked to nominate a colleague who they think has really demonstrated our values, for our Employee of the Month award.
We’re really proud of the staff that work for Bullens and the dedication that they show to our customers, so from now on we are going to be blogging every month about the Employee of the Month winner, and featuring a short interview with them so that you can find out more about who we are here at Bullen, and hopefully get to know us a bit better. This time we’ve got a roundup of the winners over the last few months
January: Anita Shiels
Anita works in our London branch and is one of our Personal Customer Advisors. Anita was awarded Employee of the Month for January for the work she had done as part of the inbound call team.
February: Jackie Bradfield
Jackie worked on our prescription team and was awarded Employee of the Month for February for her willingness to help others and go the extra mile with her work, and the way that she worked with colleagues in Pharmacy.
March: John Irwin
John works in our warehouse and is one of the people responsible for picking our customers’ orders. He was awarded Employee of the Month for April for the way that he went over and above in what was expected of him to ensure that everything was completed for the end of year stock check.
April: John Scotton
John works in our contact centre and is one of our Personal Customer Advisors. He was awarded Employee of the Month for April for his flexibility in covering absences in our branches. In one particular week he covered in both Bristol and Nottingham.
May: Kelly Murphy
Kelly is the Executive Assistant to our Managing Director and is the lynchpin of Bullens. Kelly was awarded Employee of the Month for May for assisting with the recruitment of the new team managers and advisors in the contact centre, and the way in which she always steps up to help out, even when it’s a nasty task like the toilets being blocked!
June: Liz Howard
Liz works on our prescription team, redeeming and checking prescriptions. She was awarded Employee of the Month for June for going above and beyond, doing overtime and rearranging her days off, to help the team during an exceptionally busy month.
July: Nicky Hutchings
Nicky also works on our prescription team and is the team leader, ensuring that prescriptions are redeemed and that we meet the monthly submission deadlines. She was awarded Employee of the Month for July for her hard work in making sure that everything was processed in time for the monthly prescription submission.
August: Kerry Redman
Kerry is our Territory Manager for the North West and has been with Bullens for 25 years (you can read her interview about her 25 years with Bullens here). Kerry was awarded Employee of the Month for her work in building relationships with clinicians which has helped us win a new contract.
September: In September we had two winners, Shannon Green and Robyn Murray
Shannon works in our marketing team and was awarded Employee of the Month for September for working with colleagues on the External Sales team on bringing on board a new account.
Robyn works on our finance team and is one of our reporting analysts. Robyn was awarded Employee of the Month for September for going above and beyond to produce a report for a meeting with one of our key accounts.
