Meet the Bullens Team – Hannah Gray

BullensBlog

The latest in our series of Meet the Team interviews is with Hannah Gray, one of our Personal Customer Advisors, who works in our Ipswich branch. Hannah was voted the Bullen Healthcare Employee of the Year for 2017. This is an award that is nominated by colleagues across Bullens, and is awarded to the person who has consistently displayed our values over the year.

How long have you worked for Bullens and what did you do before?

I’ve worked for Bullens for two and half years, it doesn’t feel as long, it’s gone so quick! Before I joined Bullens I was a support worker. I worked with clients with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour, mental health, and the elderly.

What do you do on a day-to-day basis?

I’m now a diary owner! This is my third job role I have done since I’ve been at Bullens.
Being a diary owner includes speaking to patients to find out what items they are needing for the following month but I also take inbound calls, dealing with orders, prescription issues, queries and questions.

What’s the best thing about working at Bullens?

The people I work with, everyone is so lovely and have been from day one in every department! Everyone is always happy to help.

What’s the funniest question you’ve ever been asked (at work)?

I’ve had quite a lot! I think the funniest one was if I’m single, like they have only heard my voice not seen my face! It must be the Essex in me! I didn’t know whether to laugh, cry or put the phone down!

What do you like doing outside of work?

I like to drink, shop and drink! I would probably class shopping as a hobby, don’t know if you can class drinking as one?!

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?

I’m petrified of birds!
